Mitre recently had the pleasure of working with G4S to train their stewards at Edgbaston Cricket ground in their Level 2 Spectator Safety ahead of the new 2023 cricket season. Our role was to help get all of the new stewards qualified in Level 2 Spectator Safety to ensure that the stadium was meeting legal requirements.

"Thanks Mitre Group. We are incredibly grateful for your support in ensuring our teams are not only engaged and experienced, but qualified also." - Chris Burr, Managing Director, G4S

At the start of May, 29 newly employed stewards began their training with Mitre Group at Edgbaston Cricket Ground and within 6 weeks, 24 stewards had successfully completed (82%). The efficiency in getting stewards observed was thanks to a great relationship between Mitre and the G4S Operations Team working within the stadium.

"Great to work with Mitre Group throughout the season at Edgbaston. Thank you to Bromley and all the assessors who visited us and guided the learners through their qualification. hoping we can work together again soon." - Mohammed Banaris, Operations Manager, G4S
